Excellent question! For starters, the annual cost of a full-time senior-level test automation engineer exceeds $100,000, plus benefits (and good luck finding one available). And if you work with external consultants you pay even more. In our experience most clients don't have enough work to keep them busy at all times, so you're stuck paying for time you aren't able to utilize.
With the monthly plan, you can pause and resume your subscription as often as you need to ensure you are only paying your test engineer when you have work available for them.
Once subscribed, you're able to add as many requests to your queue as you'd like, and they will be delivered one by one.
On average, most requests are completed in just three days or less. However, more complex test cases can take longer.
My name is Paul and I am the founder of Happy Testing. I handle all client contact personally and with every subscription I will advice you in achieving an effective test automation set-up. I am an expert in my field with over 12 years of experience, and I and am an active member of the Cypress ambassador program. Also you can find me speaking on conferences about test automation.
Test automation is never about tooling, so Happy Testing is not bound to one. However, we do have preferences based on current developments and technologies. Currently we are working primarily with Cypress.io.
We understand you may not have enough work for a longer period of time. That's where pausing your subscription comes in handy. Billing cycles are monthly based. Pausing starts the first of the next month. We do handle a minimum commitment of three billing cycles before cancellation or pausing.
Happy Testing works primarily with Slack. Here you can add your requests to the appropriate channel.
No worries! We'll continue to revise the tests until you are 100% satisfied.
That's fine. You can pause your subscription when finished and return when you have additional testing needs. There's no need to let the remainder of your subscription go to waste.
